Our Standards Application ensures your products meet strict quality, ingredient, and labeling criteria — making you retail-ready and compliant with regulatory guidelines before you exhibit or get listed on Beacon Discovery.
Why buyers trust us: When retailers see your brand at Expo West, Newtopia Now, or on Beacon, they know you've already passed our strict standards — meaning fewer compliance headaches, faster onboarding, and higher buyer confidence. This approval is your competitive advantage.
- Ingredient Standards: Ensure your products meet our Ingredient Standards & Guidelines. Artificial colors, flavors, and sweeteners are prohibited.
- High-quality product images required: Professional images, including hero shot, of all product sides are required for Standards review and will represent your brand on Beacon Discovery to thousands of buyers. Have them ready before you start the form.
- Proof of certifications: You'll need documentation to support any label claims (organic, non-GMO, etc.) for Standards form completion
- One application covers both events — Expo West and Newtopia Now
- Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee a booth at the event
- 90-day completion deadline: Your application must be complete and approved within 90 days, or it will expire
- 1-year validity: Once approved, your application remains active for 1 year from submission date
- Response Time: Applications are reviewed within 5-7 business days; however, longer lead times may occur leading up to events
